I've decided to move to The Netherlands

So, in the last few days I started to develop a thought that I'm not in the right place, and that as soon as I finish collage, I will need to pack my stuff and move from Romania. And I decided that The Netherlands is the best country to do so!

Now, I'm in 8th grade, so I have well over 8 years until to do so. But it doesn't hurt to think and make a plan about it! So, my plan is that in these 8 years that I have speared to learn Dutch, because what else can I do? In the meantime, I will also be actively thinking about my future life there and how I will survive there.

I know that now you might have some questions, like what do I mean by "how I will survive there"? Well, I want a better life for me and for my future family, so sitting here in Romania will not do anything! Romania in my opinion is already a country beyond failure, it struggles with corruption, the education system is crap, etc.

So, that's why I've chosen The Netherlands! It's a beautiful country, has better systems than Romania, and their language is much easier than German or French, and also, it's a small country! What could you not love about it? Now to give a little more insight about the language, it's if German took the simplicity and vocabulary of English. Which let's be real, it's really good! You get the coolness of German in a simple package.

And now you might be thinking "Why didn't I decide move to Germany/France/[insert European superpower here]?", well I thought that moving to a big influential country would be hard, especially that 99.9% of people just migrate to the superpowers. And I decided not to be like everyone and to seek a peaceful country, so that's why I choose The Netherlands!

I made an ecosystem

So, I decided to make an ecosystem. Why? Because now I have a wiki, this blog, and in all kinds of projects and ideas that I'm working on.

And to make them connected, I think an ecosystem is the most viable solution. The ecosystem is called "Borealis Ecosystem", I chose this name because "IulianArian Ecosystem" would have been too boring, and because recently I'm obsessed with the beautiful nordic lights.

Now what does this mean for projects and ideas that are included in this ecosystem? It means that they would be heavy documented and be a little more active than my other projects or ideas. I see it as it makes tasks to seem more important and makes me work on them more.

So far, I decided that I will be including the fallowing projects/ideas:

  • This blog
  • The wiki
  • Operation "Nordic Lock-in"
Maybe there would be more projects or ideas added to this list, but so far, I decided that these would be the priorities.

Operation "Nordic Lock-in"

You might be wondering about the title of this post, but it's real, I'm actually doing this!

Now, I might it called it an "operation", but it's more like a personal project were I'm trying to teach myself the nordic way with the help of ChatGPT (and maybe even Gemeni). And ditching the Romanian education way! It might have been improved along the years, but I'm not waiting until I'm like 50 to start understanding what is taught in school.

This thought started a few days ago, when I just found out that the Bosnian Mark is better than the Romanian Leu (RON). I took my question to ChatGPT, and instead of asking the question I had in mind, I started a whole therapy season with ChatGPT on the idea that Romania is a well-done (in the bad way) country when it comes to the management of it and other similar aspects. One of them being the education, which is already well behind most of the European systems. I mean come on! Even Bulgaria has better education (statistic wise) compared to Romania.

My conversation with ChatGPT carried on for the next hours. Until I realized that even if I sent an email to the ministry of education, the change would not happen for the next 20 ‐ 30 years. So, I took the responsibility into my own hands and started this personal project.

I will make sure to keep you guys updated regarding this project on the wiki and also on here. So, stay tuned and fallow the tag "Nordic Lock-in" for new posts about this subject! Also, I forgot to mention that I also started this project because I got a below passing note on the national evaluation simulation test. The real test is in the last week of June, so I think it's the best time to start this!

Also, there are only 4 days until Christmas (I will 100% make a post!), and just 11 days until 2026... Damn, that's sad.

Welcome Bluesky!

Today I made an important decision. And that decision is that when I will become more known as a person online, I will start to use Bluesky!

I feel that Bluesky it's a much better alternative and that it is really the blue sky that everyone wants. I like how that sounded. Anyways, because I made this post only to announce that I'm on Bluesky as well, I feel that this will be the perfect post to mention why I think Bluesky is better than Twitt- I mean 𝕏.

So, let's get started with the AI part. Our beautiful AI that invaded our day-to-day life either we want it or not, now I don't have anything with AI, I kind of actually like it. But when it is thrown in every single thing known to mankind, it starts to lose its charm of being that one unic tool.

Twitter has its own AI named Grok, which sounds a lot like the word "glock". The thing is that this AI is thrown at you every time it has the chance to be, trough the comments, or through the sidebar. Bluesky on the other hand, doesn't even have an AI chatbot.

Now, let's get into the algorithm of each platform. Twitter has a more "what's popular" algorithm, as for Bluesky it as a more "from your fallowing". Which I think the Bluesky one it's the better one.

Bluesky fells a lot like it's for humans in my opinion. Twitter it's just filled with bots, if you look at any report of the bot percentage, Twitter will be at around 90%. Which means Twitter became a "from bots for bots" platform.

Now I know I haven't pointed everything out, but I'm sure you know the other inconveniences with Twitter that just make Bluesky look like a pile of gold.

I've decided to do some changes to the blog

Since I started this blog all the way back in November 2023, I've never posted a post with an image. I did that to make this blog look as close as it can to a 2000s blog. But that will change today!

I realized that putting little icons and images in a block of text, really changes the mood of it and it adds to a enjoyment of reading.

I think that more blogs and websites in general should do the same.

If you're opposed to this decision, please tell me in the comments or send me an email at businessiulian@gmail.com.
