A new era, a new name!

I've had something on my mind ever since I entered high school, that "something" being a new name, a new version of me, if you can call it that. So, as you can see, the blog has a new look! And I also have a new name! Okay, I didn't actually change my handle... yet. But at least I changed my YouTube banner and profile picture that I've been rocking since 2022-2023.So, as you can see, the blog has a new look! And I also have a new name! I mean, it is a slight improvement when it comes to naming and branding in general. So, why did I make this change? And why "Icelandic Fox"? Well, it all started Sunday night, when I suddenly had a thought.

"Why do I use my real name? Why don't I change it?" 

And that thought sparked this whole change... Now, as I mentioned a few paragraphs ago, I didn't change my handle yet, and that's because something inside of me won't let me do it. I don't know why I have this roadblock... Maybe it's because my real name became so integrated into my online persona that changing it would feel like ripping something from my life? I mean... That could be a possibility!

Anyway! Now that I've "bit the bullet" and made the change, I feel... good. I feel like I'm once again free of everything that was holding me back. Okay, so with that said, I also need to make a preaf announcement... Since I will start high school on September 7, 2026, I was planning to post videos every two weeks during that time! Maybe someday I will make my YouTube channel profitable so I can afford expensive, cool tech and also random stuff without being worried about my wallet.

If it will be after me, I hope I can activate the monetization features before Christmas. If not, activating them before the summer break of 2027 would also be a very good aspiration.

Also, on a quick side note, you may have seen that I actually kept my handle the same on some platforms. I only felt like changing the display name since, as I said, I can't yet "divorce" from my handle.

 Around a week ago, I filmed and edited yet another update video and posted on my channel as unlisted. But today that's changeing! Because after I'm done writing this post, I'll go directly to YouTube Studio and publish it!

The first hours from 2026

 It has been well over 11 hours since 2026 began for me, and so far, everything is going great! Now I still have that muscle memory to type "2025" instead of "2026", but that just fixes itself with time.

Now for the first day of 2026 I felt a little strange, like I felt depression when I visited my grandparents, and when cleaning my endless stuff from my external HDD. I don't know why this was the case, but it seems I really left everything in 2025. And I hope that is the case! It's not like I did not have good memories from 2025, but most of the time being alive in 2025 felt sad, like it supposed to be like that.

I don't know why it was like that, but this year I feel it would be different in every way! Now that I know school doesn't help me at all when it comes to passing their own stupid little tests, I will embrace my plan form the post titled "Operation "Nordic Lock-in"". As much as people would say that AI is useless and unsuitable for learning, they most of the time do not even do the tasks that the AI tells them to do. So, with that said, I hope I will be entering 9th grade in the high school I want to!

As for my activity online, I will try to post more consistently on this blog, as for my YouTube Channel... I will have to wait for THE BIG SUMMER OF 2026 to see some content on there.

I'm thinking of becoming an animator...

 I recently started to watch someone who I was aware of its existence but never got to watch his videos, that person it's Chipflake, or shorter, Chip.

He is a Britan that moved to Germany for lots of reasons with the main one being to be with his life partner. But I don't want to make this post all about Chip! I mean, read the title.

So, thinking of becoming an animator... This thought came into my head a few days ago when I got to known it's history tough older videos, now to be real with you, I kind of relate to him with a lot of things. One of them being how I sit while using my laptop, like I sit exactly the same! With my legs in front of me. Only recently I tried to sit normally, but there are colder days where my legs are freezing...

Anyways! Now from where does the part of "I'm thinking of becoming an animator" come from? Well just a few minutes before starting to write this post I watched a video posted by Chipflake about 5 years ago. That video is "Looking through my giant box of drawings", posted on 20th of November 2020, this video gave life to a thought of becoming an animator.

Now I don't think I will start to do animation from tomorrow, because there are a lot of things that I need to take into account. One of them being the name I'm using everywhere! If you don't know, the name "IulianArian" is my actual real name. The same name that shows on my ID, on my birth certificat, etc.

Which now that I think about it, doesn't sound good at all in other languages! Plus, the name "IulianArian" doesn't sound that good... Maybe I will eventually change it to something else, but right now I don't have any ideas, plus it will be frustrating to rebrand everything from my YouTube channel to my wiki.

So, maybe in the near future I will come up with a name that sounds good and is memorable.

It's a short... but what can you do.

Now let's get to why I didn't post anything on this blog and also who I am supporting even if I can't vote.

First, why I didn't post anything on here, well... school and other stuff, like making slop for YouTube and stuff like that.

Now who I am supporting, well it's Elena Lasconi, it sems like a very great woman who supports western ideologies and ideas, like the LGBTQ+ community, maybe the Furry Fandom, and thinks like that, and I really think that she would make the world a better place.

Also, I can say that I am officially an Advanced Google Maps Editor (I discovered how to use the Maps Content Partners program)!

My country finally is a little bit more popular!

 Today, IShowSpeed made a live where he visited my country!

Sadly, only the capital, but still it was fun to fill in 3 hours of my life with this. I thought that my country which suffered from communism and corruption so many years will not revive, but it did!

Now, the live ended at 2:18 PM (EEST), but I saw that everything was coming to an end, and I have decided to write this post!

I am terrified of this!

 The other day, videos of people exploring abandoned places started appearing on my YouTube feed, and I don't like this! I clicked the "I'm not interested" button, but they just keep appearing! And because of them I can't sleep at night.

It seems that the issue is fixed for now, but I can't warp my mind around it!

I think that the videos appear because I have been interested in nostalgia stuff.
