A sign from above?

You might have been wondering why I took a break from posting... Well, we had another "simulation"! And this one was different... VERY different!

So, for some ordinary reason, there was this horrible woman who came into the classroom where we did the simulation and made us into all kinds of creatures, and also said that we would not have any chance to pass. Now, I have a piece of documentation which gives me 4 hours instead of 2, and also gives me access to folders with basically all of the essentials for the exam. It is like a cheat code if you know how to use it!

Anyways!

There were also teachers that supervised us during the simulation. For example, at the Romanian simulation, there were two teachers from our school, and they were chill as hell! But at the math simulation, there were these two ladies from the school where we were taking the simulation, and they apparently had something against me... For example, I was asking where my seat was, and one of them said that I should chill out. I did not even scream at her! Like, what was her problem with me?

After that was finished, I realized that this may be how normal school is after all. Let's just say that I am not in a school funded by the government or a similar institution. And seeing how teachers from a school funded by the state are, it kind of ruined the image I had about Romania even more! It was already ruined by the fact that Romania has corruption and instability more than any country in the EU, but now that I have seen this with my own eyes, it made the dream of moving to The Netherlands seem even more appealing than before.

Now that you've heard only negative things... let me tell you about some positive ones as well! So, at the Romanian test (exam, however you want to call it), there are two texts given. Usually, both of them are extremely boring, but these two were something different!

The first one was about two kids going through the forest to someone's sheepfold. And the second one was about someone just reconnecting with nature. As soon as I saw the title of the second text my mind instantly activated, the title in question being "Eu și vulpea" (translation from Romanian: Me and the fox). Now, if you searched deep enough on my blog and also my wiki, you might know that I am a part of the furry fandom and that I have a fox fursona named Russet Ashford.

When I was reading the second text, I felt something in my soul warming up. Not because of the text itself, but because I have a very strong connection with my fursona. Every time I hear just the word "fox" or anything related to it, I instantly activate my mind.

Sounds weird, doesn't it?

After I was done with the Romanian test, I talked with some of my classmates (mainly girls) about the second text, and they said as well that they thought of me while reading it. Isn't that fun? I personally think that this was a sign from God in which he told me, "You will succeed!"

So yeah, that was it! Another weird week, or may I say weeks, because I haven't posted anything new for the past month.

I added emoji support!

If you remembered the last time I did this on this blog, it was a mess... I was using Twitter's emojis back then, which still had support for older browsers like Internet Explorer since they were loaded as images and not fonts. And as you may expect, the emojis were VERY big! So big that they started to break the reading experience! So, after a few months of noticing this issue, I've decided to remove the custom emojis and let them be how the system decides.

But now, you may see that the Noto Color Emoji font displaying, and that is because just made it so that would be the Emoji font showing for everyone! No matter the platform!

I make this decision because I just added my YouTube RSS feed on the right side of the blog, which uses some emojies that may not be supported by all platform. For example, country flags (🇳🇱, 🇷🇴, 🇺🇲, 🇪🇺 etc.).

Besides that, I've chosen Google's emojies because they are the only Emoji font to receive the new approved emojies first. Which for me, is a big bonus.

Now I know that not all browsers and platform will be showing the Noto Color Emojis (Internet Explorer and older browsers), but at least I solved the problem with emojis not having a unified style across platforms!

This must be the best year of my life!

 It's the middle of February and this is the first post I'm writing on this blog this month, you might be wondering why that is the case. Well, these past few weeks have been some of the most successful weeks in my entire life until this point. I got a 7,80 at mathematics (which is basically a B+ for those of you Americans), our history teacher got replaced with one of the best teachers in our school, and many more good things happened which I can't really describe right now...

Anyways! Let's start with the first one! So, the 7,80 at math. When I saw the test being handed to me with that grade written on it I thought I was dreaming, but no, it was real. Now the 3rd subject (the final part of the test) it was... incomplete... but at least the first 2 subjects I got 100% of the grade (which is basically a 6). This grade really gave me motivation that in June when the final test is, which will decide my future high school, I will get the same or maybe even more.

Now onto the next topic, the history teacher! He is one of the best teachers that ever walked on our school hallways. Why am I saying this? Because the way he explained the first lesson and the way he introduced himself, must be a gift directly from god. Now I will give very little detail about him just to create a little bit of background around himself, he has 2 jobs (the second one is the more interesting one) and he was even in The United States of America trough a program which allows European students to study during high school in America. Which just thinking about it, is super awesome! Now again, I will not get into details, but the way he told us it seems that you Americans have a much better school system (ignoring the whole school shooting stuff) than the one we have here in Romania. It's not even comparable on how better it is!

Anyways! I hope that he will never change and that we would have a smooth school year!

Now to end this post, I will just be saying that of everything goes according to plan. This summer will be the craziest one ever on my blog, wiki, YouTube channel, and also Bluesky (maybe).

My cat just died today...

 Since the last post, we in the family decided that maybe our cat had one more chance at surviving. That being with the help of a surgery.

On 28th of January 2026 (today) my mom took her to the surgeon at around 2 PM. During the surgery, Sisi hearth stopped beating, which resulted into the cat dying in the process. When my mom arrived home at around 6 PM I was expecting to see Sisi in her hands, but there was nothing. Then I realized that the worst had happen, Sisi died. I wasen't expecting that Sisi would die, even though it would happen eventually.

As my mom told me, both of her kidneys were affected, with one of them being completely solidified. Besides the kidneys, her intestines were affected as well, but not so bad as the kidneys were. After I heard the news, I started crying. Sisi was a cat that could never been replaced by anything in this world. Not even by another cat.

Now the house is much lonelier... When Sisi was still alive she would welcome each and one of us home. Now that it became a norm for us to have someone waiting at home, it will be hard to forget about her. Especially all of the moments when we played with her, slept with her, and all kinds of stuff.

Sorry if this post was too short, but this thing just happened a cople of hours ago and I'm still suffering from it. So, I will end this post with the fallowing words: Welterusten Sisi!

March 2024 - 28th of January 2026

My cat will be dead by Sunday...

 My cat, or technically our cat (because it's the family's cat), has just been officially diagnosed with a form of cancer named "Lymphoma".

After this news came, we've decided to put it to sleep by Saturday, so that she would not be going through this pain anymore. Even if we decided to let it live, it would result in the same way, dying just a couple of months into the future.

If you didn’t pick the main topic by now, this post will be entirely dedicated to Sisi. The family cat which will sadly die in a few days.

We picked up Sisi in August of 2024 from the streets of a village. She had a huge bubble underneath her mouth filled with God knows what. We took her in custody planning to keep her for a few days only until her irritation or what it goes away. But those few days turned into week, months, and then a year passed by. Our apartment was on the edge of it being finished from renovation and school was starting in a few weeks, everything felt like a charm. Everything was calm, nice, and life was easy!

During the 2025 part of school, Sisi was very interactively and she was very happy as it sawn. It did not look like she had something, the only think she had, was the love for us.

As 2025 ended and 2026 was right around the corner, we started seeing something weird about her. Her belly started to inflate like a ballon; it looked like something was pressing against her organs. And it turned out to be the case, on 14th of January 2026, my mom took her to the doctor. Where an x-ray was made. Something like a ball was inside her, covering one of his kidneys. We thought that because the x-ray wasn't a 3D one made from all angles, it might just have been something that was only in a part of her body.

My mom took her to another x-ray on 20th of January 2026, this time a 3D one. The results weren't as quick as for the standard non-3D one, but they were set to arrive in 5 business days, 26th of January marking it the 5th.

The results arrived between 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM, and they were sad... Both of her kidneys were affected, with one of them being completely covered by a weird white ball which looked like a rock. Hearing this, all of us started crying, Sisi being the only animal left in the house played a really important role in it.

And as I mentioned at the beginning, we already decided that she is a lost cause. We can't revive her anymore.

I might post another post on this blog on the 31st of January 2026, which will be Sisi's final day to leave.

March 2024 - 28th of January 2026

I've decided to move to The Netherlands

 So, in the last few days I started to develop a thought that I'm not in the right place, and that as soon as I finish collage, I will need to pack my stuff and move from Romania. And I decided that The Netherlands is the best country to do so!

Now, I'm in 8th grade, so I have well over 8 years until to do so. But it doesn't hurt to think and make a plan about it! So, my plan is that in these 8 years that I have speared to learn Dutch, because what else can I do? In the meantime, I will also be actively thinking about my future life there and how I will survive there.

I know that now you might have some questions, like what do I mean by "how I will survive there"? Well, I want a better life for me and for my future family, so sitting here in Romania will not do anything! Romania in my opinion is already a country beyond failure, it struggles with corruption, the education system is crap, etc.

So, that's why I've chosen The Netherlands! It's a beautiful country, has better systems than Romania, and their language is much easier than German or French, and also, it's a small country! What could you not love about it? Now to give a little more insight about the language, it's if German took the simplicity and vocabulary of English. Which let's be real, it's really good! You get the coolness of German in a simple package.

And now you might be thinking "Why didn't I decide move to Germany/France/[insert European superpower here]?", well I thought that moving to a big influential country would be hard, especially that 99.9% of people just migrate to the superpowers. And I decided not to be like everyone and to seek a peaceful country, so that's why I choose The Netherlands!

I made an ecosystem

 So, I decided to make an ecosystem. Why? Because now I have a wiki, this blog, and in all kinds of projects and ideas that I'm working on.

And to make them connected, I think an ecosystem is the most viable solution. The ecosystem is called "Borealis Ecosystem", I chose this name because "IulianArian Ecosystem" would have been too boring, and because recently I'm obsessed with the beautiful nordic lights.

Now what does this mean for projects and ideas that are included in this ecosystem? It means that they would be heavy documented and be a little more active than my other projects or ideas. I see it as it makes tasks to seem more important and makes me work on them more.

So far, I decided that I will be including the fallowing projects/ideas:

• This blog
• The wiki
• Operation "Nordic Lock-in"

Maybe there would be more projects or ideas added to this list, but so far, I decided that these would be the priorities.

The first hours from 2026

 It has been well over 11 hours since 2026 began for me, and so far, everything is going great! Now I still have that muscle memory to type "2025" instead of "2026", but that just fixes itself with time.

Now for the first day of 2026 I felt a little strange, like I felt depression when I visited my grandparents, and when cleaning my endless stuff from my external HDD. I don't know why this was the case, but it seems I really left everything in 2025. And I hope that is the case! It's not like I did not have good memories from 2025, but most of the time being alive in 2025 felt sad, like it supposed to be like that.

I don't know why it was like that, but this year I feel it would be different in every way! Now that I know school doesn't help me at all when it comes to passing their own stupid little tests, I will embrace my plan form the post titled "Operation "Nordic Lock-in"". As much as people would say that AI is useless and unsuitable for learning, they most of the time do not even do the tasks that the AI tells them to do. So, with that said, I hope I will be entering 9th grade in the high school I want to!

As for my activity online, I will try to post more consistently on this blog, as for my YouTube Channel... I will have to wait for THE BIG SUMMER OF 2026 to see some content on there.
